Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
To conduct short-term use of a four-transmitter ground truth emission system in conjunction with testing involving airborne synthetic aperture radar (“SAR”) imaging devices for which authorization was granted under Call Sign WL2XGM (ELS File No. 0289-EX-CM-2021; granted February 1, 2022). This STA would replace the STA authorized under Call Sign WT9XHH, granted February 7, 2022, which covered the identical operations, but which will expire on April 1, 2022. A replacement is necessary due to a delay in the schedule for the experimental program, as detailed in the attached Explanatory Statement.
