Question:   Will the FCC accept measurement data made in GTEM cells for equipment authorization purposes?


Yes, under limited conditions. On December 2 1993 the FCC released Public Notice 40830 (attached below as GTEM PN 40830) announcing that it would accept radiated emission test data under limited conditions for Part 15 Equipment Authorization purposes made in Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic (GTEM) cells.

FCC Public Notice 54796 further expanded the use of GTEM cells (attached below as GTEM PN 54796).
