Question:   Will the FCC accept measurement data made in GTEM cells for equipment authorization purposes.


Yes, under limited conditions. On December 2 1993 The FCC released Public Notice 40830 - Attached below as GTEM PN 40830 - announcing that it would accept radiated emission test data under limited conditions for Part 15 Equipment Authorization purposes made in GTEM [1] cells.

On July 12 1995, Public Notice 54796 further expanded the use of GTEM cells- Attached below as GTEM PN 54796.
[1] Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic (GTEM) cell is an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test environment used in radiated-emissions tests.
