The Draft Presentation at pages 56-57 states the effective radiated power (ERP) is used for narrow-band transmissions while effective isotropic radiated power (EIRP) is used for broad-band transmissions. This may lead to a mis-statement of data. Since modern antenna measurement chambers typically provide dBi gain data, EIRP would be preferable. It would be useful for FCC to explain its rationale for using both ERP and EIRP when harmonization on EIRP alone would be desirable.
