Dear OET Team, I have 2 comments related to the Draft KDB for Split Modules 996369 D05. #1. Antenna Authentication (unique combination between module and AIM). Can proprietary protocol between TCE and RFE ensuring impossibility to replace RFE by another not coming from same vendor be considered as enough in order to ensure authentication requirement? #2. PAG removal at host level. Could it be confirmed that Host Level certification can be carried out with C2PC whereas PAG is used at module level? Regards, Benjamin

For the HES there needs to be some type of guidelines or references as to how to construct. For example, the floating patch upon which the components are mounted must have a minimum size specified by multiples of wavelength. Any guidelines should be specified in this KDB.

Note: It is important to understand that the staff guidance provided in the KDB is intended to assist the public in following Commission requirements and does not constitute rules. Accordingly, the guidance is not binding on the Commission and will not prevent the Commission from making a different decision in any matter that comes to its attention for resolution.
