Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The company is flying a short duration, technology demonstration satellite mission in Low Earth Orbit. The orbital altitude is approximately 300 km, and thus the satellites orbit will decay and reenter into the atmosphere approximately 2 weeks after deployment. The satellite will be activated immediately after deployment and thus will have an operation duration of approximately 2 weeks. The satellite will operate a 2.4GHz ISM transceiver as the primary communications link and a one way downlink beacon at 145.825 MHz in the Amateur Radio Service. The Amateur frequency has already been coordinated by the IARU. We seek to gain an experimental license for the Space to Earth 2.4 GHz primary downlink and the Space to Earth 145.825 MHz secondary beacon downlink. Although the operational duration is only 2 weeks, we seek to gain license for the full 6 months to allow for launch vehicle delays.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The 2.4 GHz ISM transceiver will be the primary communications link for the mission, sending payload and telemetry data down to the main ground station sites. The 145.825 MHz beacon will be the secondary communications link, periodically sending short telemetry packets.
