This is in support of both NSF and NASA supported research projects. An STA is necessary for us to transmit over the lower shortwave bands for the purpose of measuring parameters of ionospheric layers.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The purpose of this operation is to support the development of a low-cost, low-power ionosonde, and use it to collect experimental data during the upcoming April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse.
