Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
For evaluation of the new subTHz spectroscopy 6G sensing wideband low-power 126-182 GHz FMCW device technology in the US there currently is no suitable FCC frequency regulation like in Europe (ECC DEC (22)03). We think that this technology can have a significant impact to the success of our new innovative clean energy drilling technology. The sensors will be used for online drilling monitoring and diagnostics (like a industry suitable VNA), which is a key factor for success of our new technology. The STA license would allow us to operate the devices for some first well defined (indoor lab) test cases for the next 6 month. For reference, please see 1271-EX-ST-2022 for a similar application.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The device will be operated in a well shielded indoor setup and will radiate into a well shielded waveguide setup with different stone materials at the output of the waveguide. The wide bandwidth is needed to get sufficient resolution to analyze reflections (sub-THz spectroscopy) similar to a VNA setup. The setup will be operated on a non interference and non protection basis.
