Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The School of Computing has an active National Science Foundation (NSF) Grant (ID: OAC 2321699) from 10/01/2023 to 09/30/2025, which aims to provide a cutting-edge 5G private cellular network to support campus research projects, and agriculture and rural scenarios. This project will conduct various wireless experiments on campus at Nebraska, Lincoln, including mainly 3.4-3.6GHz radio spectrum usage. This is critical for the success of this NSF project and shows great board impact on industry, high-education, and MidWest states in terms of wireless innovations.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Our NSF project will conduct a variety of wireless experiments, based on SDR platform and commercial 5G base stations. This operation will enable us to debug, evaluate, test advanced network slicing techniques in real-world networks on campus, which provides a critical experience (as well as datasets) for academic research community.

Is a directional antenna (other than radar) used?   No
Exhibit submitted:   No
(a) Width of beam in degrees at the half-power point:
(b) Orientation in horizontal plane:
(c) Orientation in vertical plane:
Will the antenna extend more than 6 meters above the ground, or if mounted on an existing building, will it extend more than 6 meters above the building, or will the proposed antenna be mounted on an existing structure other than a building?   Yes
(a) Overall height above ground to tip of antenna in meters:   40.00
(b) Elevation of ground at antenna site above mean sea level in meters:   400.00
(c) Distance to nearest aircraft landing area in kilometers:   8.00
(d) List any natural formations of existing man-made structures (hills, trees, water tanks, towers, etc.) which, in the opinion of the applicant, would tend to shield the antenna from aircraft: the antenna will be installed on a building of University of Nebraska-Lincoln (i.e., old father hall). In the old father hall, there are already multiple cellular antennas on it (more than 10). So, the risk of interference should be already justified and verified previously.
