Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
A STA is necessary because the test devices are not FCC approved as of yet. Given that, we are performing a proof of capability of the radio system for the Comprehensive Natural Gas Shutoff Safety System (CNGSSS). This will be a demonstration/test of a new product that needs to be proven in the field - and we want to prove out before building and going to production.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Natural Gas Safety - We will be sending/receiving periodic messages from a natural gas valve and methane detector to a LoRaWAN gateway via LoRaWAN protocol and determining if the system is reliable, works outdoors, and at a certain (longer) distance (things that cannot be performed in a lab).
