Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This STA is necessary to seek approval to do some basic analysis prior to going and completing the actual flight testing with the aircraft and equipment. The platform is a prototype platform, and we would like to ensure the equipment operates properly prior to testing. This STA will be almost identical to an STA that has already been approved for Raspet Flight Research Lab. The approved file number is 0225-EX-ST-2022

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The purpose of the operation is to ensure that communication equipment on board the aircraft operates as supposed to while in flight, and this will also give ourselves an opportunity to become more familiar with the data collection equipment. It also allows us to ensure that equipment on board the aircraft does not cause interference with all of the other equipment on board.
