Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
WTB has informed Centum that the Lifeseeker device cannot be approved to operate in the spectrum licensed to the mobile carriers without their approval. The STA will allow testing and potentially use of the device in actual search and rescue operations to further confirm to carriers that the device does not interfere with their networks.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To demonstrate to the mobile operators that the device does not interfere with their networks and to allow the carriers and the applicant to develop processes for carriers to authorize third party users of the device to transmit in the carriers licensed spectrum.
