The STA will allow AT&T to conduct initial tests of prototype Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) equipment operating in the 5150-5250 MHz and 5725-5850 MHz bands prior to equipment certification.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To conduct initial tests of prototype Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) equipment operating in the 5150-5250 MHz and 5725-5850 MHz bands prior to equipment certification. AT&T seeks to operate prototype Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) in the 5150-5250 MHz and 5725-5850 MHz bands to evaluate performance and determine customer acceptability, during the development, design, and pre-production phases of the equipment.
