Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This application uses information from previous grant, 1525-EX-ST-2016. This STA is necessary to authorize launch vehicle communications for F9-33, a commercial GTO launch from Complex 39a, Kennedy Space Center. Application includes sub-orbital first stage, and orbital second stage and spacecraft transmissions. Trajectory data to be provided directly to NTIA, USAF, and NASA. All downrange Earth stations are receive-only. Launch licensing authority is FAA Office of Commercial Space Transportation.
