Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Moving to higher mmWave frequencies for traditional outdoor, mobile communication systems have been associated with challenges such as LOS directional communication, poor RF efficiency and higher path loss. This STA will provide a deeper understanding of the mmWave channel to understand the outdoor, mobile environments and impacts to path loss, angular spread, delay spread, NLOS beamforming and blocking issues. In this context, channel sounding and propagation measurements are needed to provide knowledge that is essential for the design of a mmWave communication system for mobile, outdoor environments.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Perform detailed channel measurements at 28 GHz for outdoor, mobile channels, for a distance of up to 500 meters radius around the Samsung Telecommunications America in Richardson, TX USA
