Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  This research and experimentation project is in support of a project for the Department of Homeland Security, Air and Marine Operations (DHS/AMO) group in order to support the identification of small, non-cooperative targets. The objective of this effort is to demonstrate the capabilities of the radar system by emitting and receiving skin returns from these small, non-cooperative targets.This cannot be accomplished in a laboratory environment. As such, the field testing is necessary. The results of these experiments are expected to contribute to national air safety and development as a radar system in support of DHS/AMO.
