An STA is necessary to authorize the use of additional frequencies for ground testing of Electron launch vehicle communications at Wallops Island, VA.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Electron Launch Vehicle delivers small satellites into low earth orbit. Applicant seeks authorization for radio frequency communications , in addition to those already authorized under File No. 1261-EX-ST-2022, to conduct testing in support of a rideshare mission launch of Electron as described in the explanatory narrative attached.
