Virgin Orbit designs and manufactures a launch vehicle that will be air launched from a modified 747 airplane. STA License is requested to operate a S-Band Transmitter located on the launch vehicle (Launcher One) for the upcoming launch. 747 will take-off from Cornwall Airport, UK with Launcher One in captive carry. Launcher One will be dropped and launched in international waters south of Ireland. Launch license to be provided by FAA-Commercial Space Transportation Office and Civil Aviation Authority, UK. Captive carry flight and orbital trajectory details will be provided to the NTIA, OfComm, UK and other stakeholder US and UK agencies.
