Explanation

Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary: Testing of 5G (3GPP compliant) operation in C band (FCC Auction 110) for base station and HP Enterprise core network interoperability with a commercial user device at very low power for product development. C band (FCC Auction 110) is already auctioned but not yet licensed for operation in the US. Testing necessary for product development and optimization prior to product release and pre-validation of the equipment for equipment authorization. Testing will focus on the network operation between the Radio Access Network (RAN) and the core network in a very limited area and no mobility.

Purpose of Operation

Please explain the purpose of operation:

Indoor, low power and limited area operation in a test and integration lab for pre-authorization 5G capable base stations and HPE core network with 5G user devices. Limited and periodic operation of system during controlled test periods only. Testing in a stationary condition with very limited mobility.
