The Space Dynamics Laboratory test site is 500m from the Logan Regional Hospital helipad and 3km from the Logan-Cache airport. It is surrounded by trees and buildings. Buildings to the east are 3 stories tall with additional rooftop structures. 2-story buildings are to the north, west, and south in addition to tall trees to the west. These structures prevent aircraft from flying this low in the area.
