Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Intuitive Machines in conjunction with Nokia needs to test an LTE based radio unit intended for short range communication on the Moon. This unit will fly as early as Q4 2022. This STA would be for low power, short range bench testing at our headquarters flat sat lab facility. Maximum transmit powers are shown in the filing and can be attenuated as required. This facility is on the sixth floor of our building, but conducted indoors in a lab setting. The extension is being requested so we can complete follow on testing that has been identified during the original grant window.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To test basic operation and data flow using an LTE based comm unit on the ground before the mission is flown in space. The extension purpose is to allow follow on testing identified during the original window. The extra time will allow coordination with our Nokia partners to schedule those additional tests after April. The units we are testing are precursors to ones that will provided surface communications between the IM-2/Nova-C unmanned lunar lander (part of the NASA CLPS program) and deployed vehicles on the lunar surface at short range. Two user (UE) units will be used on the Moon, in conjunction with one base station (BTS). For our test 1x or 2x UEs will interact with 1x BTS.
