Astra Space manufactures and operates launch vehicles. An STA is necessary to transmit telemetry in the unified S-Band frequencies (2200-2290 MHz). Astra plans to use a receive-only antenna at the launch site and an additional downrange receive-only antenna in Bermuda.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  This application is for the operation of a launch vehicle, for launch attempts between 1 April 2022 and 30 September 2022. There are no radios on the launch vehicle that will be operated by Astra or any third party after the launch is completed.
