Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
MerlinTPS was asked by the DoD CIO to participate in their annual PNTAX (position, navigation, timing exercises) at White Sands Missile Range in September. We listen to broadcast (AM/FM) signals of opportunity to calculate position and timing precision. The problem is that we test during night time when nearby broadcast stations power off or down. We need to deploy our own small 100 watt transmitters on WSMR for 3 weeks at night during the RF denial testing. We can configure the signals directionally to only point toward the middle of the range.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The purpose of the operation is to commercialize alternate PNT (position, nav, timing) solutions to eliminate our over dependence on GPS. The increasing GPS jamming and spoofing puts our energy grid, financial systems, data centers, comm networks, navigation at extreme risk of prolonged outages. We are working with the DoD to commercialize our Terrestrial Positioning System and the RF denial testing at WSMR in September is a pinnacle point of proof of solution. This is critical to our country to commercialize TPS and eliminate the GPS risk.
