Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Hermeus will be conducting a flight test of a prototype autonomous hypersonic aircraft platform, including all RF emissions necessary for safe operation of the aircraft. The test period will last no longer than 6 months and does not require the license period of a full Part 5 experimental license.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Hermeus will be testing the full-scope functionality of its hypersonic aircraft in flight, including all associated RF systems. These include a radar altimeter, S-band data telemetry downlink, L-band data telemetry uplink, C-band video telemetry downlink, VHF voice communication transceiver, 900 MHz backup telemetry/command bidirectional link, ADS-B beacon, and C-band radar enhancing transponder.
