Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We would like to showcase our 126-182 GHz sub-THz spectroscopy sensor technology at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) in the Washington. We do not have FCC approval for the devices yet. There seems to be a lot of interest from the US market in this new technology and the STA license would allow us to operate the devices for some first well defined (indoor, low range) demo & test cases. For reference, please see 0661-EX-CN-2023 and 1885-EX-ST-2022 for similar applications.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  We are attending the IEEE International Microwave Symposium (June 16-22, Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC) with our own booth and it would be nice to be able to operate the devices for experimental demonstrations (non-destructive testing synthetic aperture radar imaging, material characterization, Radar-VNA S-Parameter measurement measurement, 1 micron precision ranging) at the IMS exhibition floor. All demonstrations will be indoor (sufficiently shielded) to ensure operation on a non-interference and non-protection basis. Devices will be temporarily imported via Carnet ATA and returned to Germany.
