Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This operation falls outside the scope of our existing licences, and so we are submitting the STA application in support of our short term experimentation. (Specifically, the intended testing includes transmissions from a satellite location of the University of Utah campus, which is inappropriate for conducting under our existing Part 5 licenses, which are restricted to the main contiguous campus area only.)

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The purpose of operation is to test 5G-compliant millimeter wave (mmWave) equipment under edge-of-cell conditions from the University of Utah Hospital across Salt Lake City to the University of Utah Downtown Data Center. The installation includes one rooftop base station gNB site at the University of Utah Hospital, and one user equipment (UE) / customer premises equipment (CPE) rooftop site at the University of Utah Downtown Data Center.
