The experiment will last four weeks. The period of operations will be 16 Sep – 18 Oct 2024.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The proposed experiment fulfills requirements for work supported by the Department of the Air Force under Air Force Contract No. FA8702-15-D-0001. MIT Lincoln Laboratory is developing technology to improve the performance and protection of microwave band data links. In order to have a successful transition to the warfighter, the developed technology needs to be tested and demonstrated in air-to-air and air-to-ground flight tests. This STA will support a USAF test event to take place in October 2024 at Eglin AFB.
