Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
EMG USA is filing an STA request for the Live Television Transmission of Fox Sport’s and ESPN’s coverage of the United Football League (UFL). EMG USA submits that there are extraordinary circumstances warranting a grant of the STA request. EMG requires non-standard frequency band due to both the extensive Part 74 spectrum utilization at the various UFL Stadiums by numerous production and broadcast elements, and the design of the specialized RF equipment to be deployed. These factors necessitate making coordinated temporary use of additional spectrum in 2GHz band for LPAS operations. Stop Buzzer: George Howson 240.422.2395
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Remote video and Audio for televised broadcasts of sporting events at UFL (United Football League) stadiums for the 2024 season.
