Explanation

Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary: 3G Wireless, LLC requests that the Commission grant it temporary authority to operate on the frequencies centered at 409.6MHz, 410.4750MHz 412.4750MHz, and 412.5000MHz, with 12.5kHz frequency bandwidth for wireless camera control. Also, frequencies centered at 2210MHz, 2280MHz, and 3450MHz with a bandwidth of 8MHz for wireless cameras to produce video from February 5th, 2023, through February 9th, 2023, with intermittent usage. As explained below, 3G Wireless, LLC is filing an STA request for the Live Television Transmission of an event called (Good-Good Golf Tournament). Ohlmeyer Kusserow Group Production Company has contracted 3G Wireless, LLC to provide wireless transmitters for camera control using RF for data camera control and video coverage that uses necessary microwaves for the Live Transmission of this event. Due to the extreme frequency of congestion throughout the United States, coupled with the added congestion from traditional television and news coverage of the special event, 3G Wireless requests the use of channels in the 409-412 & 3.4/2.2 bands. 3G Wireless, LLC certifies that the operation of the requested channels for the purposes specified herein will not cause interference to any established stations.

To supply the requested remote video coverage for this event. Grant of the instant request for STA in the 409-412/3.4/2.2 bands would serve the public interest by enabling 3G Wireless, LLC to supply the requested remote video control coverage for this event. The proposed service would enhance event coverage by providing on-the-spot pictures from mobile locations that would not otherwise be available to the Production Company.
