Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
3G Wireless, LLC requests that the Commission grant it temporary authority to operate on the frequencies centered at 2204MHz, 2214MHz, 2224MHz 2234MHz, 2244MHz & 3406MHz, 3416MHz and 3426MHz with an 8MHz bandwidth on September 1st, 2023, with intermittent usage and ceasing operation on September 3rd, 2023. As explained below, 3G Wireless, LLC is filing an STA request for the Live Television Transmission of coverage of the 2023 MD Cycling Classic in Baltimore, MD. 3G Wireless, LLC submits that there are extraordinary circumstances warranting a grant of the STA request. (To Sports and Entertainment Corporation of Maryland) has contracted 3G Wireless, LLC to provide the necessary microwave for the Live Transmission of this event. Due to the extreme frequency congestion in the Baltimore area, coupled with the added congestion from traditional television and news coverage of the special event, 3G Wireless requests the use of channels in the 2200-2248 MHz, 3402- 3430MHz telemetry bands. 3G Wireless, LLC certifies that the operation of the requested channels for the purposes specified herein will not cause interference to any established stations. The request for the long distance of 196km is because we are covering the entire distance of the race. We are providing RF video cover of the cyclists via motorcycle riders riding with mounted transmit video boxes which will be in the (2.2 band). Also, we are providing RF Handheld camera which is not traveling and will just be at the finish line, all of those will be in the (3.4 band) I will be providing a photo of the map of the race as well.
