Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Broadcast Sports, Inc. is an audio, video, and data production company which provides wireless audio, video, and data for broadcast, satellite broadcast and cablecast of sporting and other events of importance. Broadcast Sports, Inc. has certain private wireless licenses for this purpose. However, the spectrum demands in major cities, and the limited spectrum for these events make it necessary to make coordinated, temporary use of additional frequencies in the UHF band. Such is necessary to have sufficient audio relay from RF camera personnel, directors, administrative, security, and emergency personnel at numerous locations at these events. Broadcast Sports, Inc. coordinates all frequencies with Local SBE/FCC coordinators in each venue for all UHF frequencies used.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
The purpose for this STA is to provide enough available frequencies for communications to cameras, utilities, producers, directors, emergency and security personnel at all the list events.
