Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
An STA is necessary is to demonstrate radio capability to US Air Force. This is an extension to the original call sign.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Demonstrate radio capability to US Air Force. This radio equipment will be operated for test purposes, on an intermittent basis only. The intent is to radiate at a much lower power level than the radio is capable of in order to avoid interfering with incumbent stations. The radio can transmit up to 30W maximum, but the intent is to operate it at 1W. In addition, the test area is surrounded by thick trees and heavy foliage which will help reduce signal levels even further.
