The purpose of the operation is to demonstrate the ability of small unit tactical operations to persist Beyond Visual Range (BVR) in remote areas where Line-Of-Site (LOS) communications is compromised due to distance and natural terrain blockage or obstruction. For the demonstration we would operate two radios, with a 3rd radio simulating a satellite in BVR relay at an elevated location where the other radios will have visual LOS to from their respective locations.
