Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This application proposes the use of two, 24 MHz bandwidth channels in the band 3300-3400 MHz for terrestrial only testing of a one-way, trackside data communications system for racing cars in nine separate, private tests over short periods of two to four days, within various Motor Speedways. The STA is necessary because the system uses radio equipment that is not licenseable in the United States for the purpose set forth herein, due to the frequency range, and it is new technology under development.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Testing of a terrestrial only, trackside telemetry marshalling communications system, transmitting to racing cars of one race team during a series of private tests. Please see narrative exhibit for a full explanation.
