Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
PSI requires an STA to prepare for an experiment with our Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) device at a DoD Special Operations Command (SOCOM) sponsored technology experimentation event.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Testing equipment. PSI will test the device at our local facilities in Epping, NH before traveling to Florida on 12/12/2022 for the experiment with SOCOM. A separate STA has already been approved for the SOCOM experiment (FN: 1773-EX-ST-2022). PSI would like to continue testing the device after the experiment for continued development, up to the maximum time that an STA will allow. The purpose of the experiment is to assess our device for use as a counter-electronics tool for the US military. PSIs device radiates pulses of microwaves within the ISM band 2.4-2.5 GHz with mean transmit power of up to 45 dBm (time average over 1s) and with a directional antenna (~16 dBi). PSI will operate our microwave radiating device at a height of 3 ft. off the ground, and radiate a target drone hovering at the same height, and at a distance of up to 6 ft. away from the radiating antenna.
