Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is needed for operation of an experimental radio system using dynamic spectrum access (DSA) for a military evaluation exercise. The exercise is by invitation only and is of short duration during the month of August, 2022. Field experiments prior to the exercise will require authorization during this time as well.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Operation of an experimental radio system using dynamic spectrum access (DSA) for a military evaluation exercise. Shared Spectrum Company (SSC) is conducting research and development (R&D) testing in coordination with a Department of Defense (DoD) effort. The test will evaluate digital datalink performance between an elevated radio system and ground-based or ship-based radio. The experiment will use a stationary radio on an elevated tower (up to 10 meters) and mobile ground radios with antennas mounted on vehicles. A ground-based signal generator will be used to cause interference to the datalink and allow evaluations of interference susceptibility. The experiments will be conducted in available frequencies in the 470-700 MHz range
