Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
STA is required as this unit does not currently hold an FCC ID. This unit is being tested for feasibility use as a navigational radar and for Autonomous vessels.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Testing equipment. Autonomous navigation ships have been actively researched and all over the world, recently. S- and X-band radar are suitable for long- and medium-range detection. But a short-range sensor is required for auto berthing and avoidance action until just before the collision, so we have developed a short-range radar in the Ka-band. It was named FSR (Furuno Short-range Radar)-00A.
