Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is necessary as we have been approached by Aggregate Industries USA for a trial of our system and the radio frequency that our equipment operates at (13.4 to 14.0GHz <25mW EIRP) is not currently included in the FCCs list of unlicensed radio frequencies for short range devices. Note that our equipment does not operate in one of the restricted bands listed in eCFR :: 47 CFR 15.205 -- Restricted bands of operation.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To demonstrate a collision avoidance system with automatic braking on a road roller to help reduce risk to life. The system uses 2 of our radars, one at the front and one at the back of vehicle. of the vehicle to detect hazards. The system has been successfully installed and sold in the UK, Europe and the UAE for many years. Jonathan Brookes of Aggregate Industries USA is heading a controlled trial of available systems and Ogden Safety Systems has been approached by AI USA to demonstrate our radar based auto-braking system. It will be fitted to a single CAT CB7 road roller and only operate within a designated area at Aggregate Industries, 5401 Kirby Road , Clinton ,MD , 20735.
