Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We respectfully request EXPEDITED CONSIDERATION by February 4, 2022 for the following reasons: We are requesting expedited consideration as we are testing how well these radars can detect drones trying to fly across the perimeter of facilities intending to do harm. For this test, the Federal Government has an interest in having us detect the effectiveness of this radar. 2. SRC and PureTech Systems, Inc. seek this Special Temporary Authority “STA” in order to allow integration testing and technical demonstrations
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Testing the effectiveness of detecting drones trying to fly across a perimeter with the Radars when integrated as part of the security detection system. At normal operation, the Radar operates at approximately 15ft from the ground. The application of the experiment is to test, evaluate and demonstrate drone detection with the RADAR package for evaluation by the Federal Government.
