Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We were requested by Kennedy Space Centers spectrum management team to file for an STA if we want to use Vaisala Oyj RS41-SGP Radiosondes at our facility.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The radiosondes being used would collect upper boundary layer atmospheric data for an upcoming rigorous data collection campaign being carried out by the University of Central Florida and the Naval Postgraduate School.
