Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is necessary due to a time sensitive, national security interest in tracking malicious UAVs flying over the Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, ME.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  We are supporting the NH State Police and the Navy NCIS in an investigation of suspicious UAVs over the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, ME. The drones have been observed on multiple locations over the shipyard at night by qualified observers. The currently available optical and RF sensors are not able to track the drones. We hope that an appropriate radar system will provide more information about the malicious activity. The Navy, the Coast Guard, the Air Force (at Pease, near by) and the State Police all are unable to quickly acquire and deploy appropriate radar systems. As a private sector firm we are able to move more quickly than they are and thus are borrowing the system and operating it. I can provide NCIS and State Police contacts if required.
