Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Our distributed antennae system includes a proprietary ground station and distributed antennae developed by DRL internally with the ultimate goal of supporting drone racing events, including hosting audience members who frequently use licensed commercial mobile and unlicensed frequency bands. During earlier phases of development, relying on unlicensed or ISM band spectrum was incredibly problematic (drones failed to connect properly, video quality was degraded, etc.). Temporary access to the requested frequencies listed in this application will help DRL identify frequency bands that are capable of delivering the high video quality and connectivity to drones required to successfully conduct drone racing events. If, based on our review, the frequency bands subject to this application are determined to provide the level of video quality and connectivity required, DRL may seek a more permanent licensing option for such frequencies via the FCC’s spectrum allocation and/or licensing procedures.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Communications during live and post-produced drone racing events. Drone racing requires a real time, low latency video feed to be broadcast locally to a pilot, for navigation of the drone. The drone feed is also received at points throughout the venue for audience consumption.
