As Chairman of these Boards, I have sought to pursue policies that both protect ratepayers and ensure the continued progress of broadband deployment. While we lose the Chairman’s direct participation on the Boards, we will all benefit from Commissioner Carr’s experience and thoughtfulness on these critical issues. In addition, I appreciate the addition of Commissioners Carr and Rosenworcel to the Joint Conference on Advanced Telecommunications Services, as it seeks to define its mission for the future.
