Bill Esbeck is a highly qualified telecommunications professional who will bring a valuable

Bill's relevant career experience spans more than two decades. In the 1990s, Governor Tommy 
Thompson chose him to serve as Policy Advisor for Utilities, Infrastructure, and Economic 
Development. After six years in the Governor's office, Bill accepted an appointed position at the 
Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.

since 2002. WSTA's 70 member companies offer high-speed internet, voice, video and wireless

focuses on policies and opportunities to promote broadband deployment, adoption and 
utilization, which benefits both member companies and the communities they serve.

The Rural Broadband Association. He also served on the board of directors of the United States 
Internet Industry Association, and he led his colleagues as chair of the National Council of State 
Telecommunications Association Executives. 
A frequently requested speaker, Bill has presented at events hosted by the U.S. House of 
Representatives Rural Broadband Caucus, Federal Reserve Bank, National Exchange Carrier 
Association, NTCA- The Rural Broadband Association, and WT A -Advocates for Rural 
Broadband .
