He is both a distinguished engineer and a talented attorney. Jeff’s wealth of Commission experience and breadth of knowledge are tremendous assets to our office,” said Commissioner Pai. Jeffrey Neumann joins Commissioner Pai’s office on detail from the Engineering Division of the Federal Communications Commission’s Media Bureau. A recipient of the Commission’s Excellence in Engineering award, he has worked on numerous technical and policy issues relating to cable, DBS, over-the-top, and broadcast television; video competition and broadband services; and implementation of the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010. Jeffrey received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan, and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
