LightSquared has submitted various filings proposing alternatives to its existing authorizations. Commission staffis reviewing these filings and the complex technical issues associated with LightSquared's proposals. In addition, on July 20, 2013, the FCC's Office of Engineering and Technology extended an Experimental Special Temporary Authority initially granted to LightSquared in April 2013.
