Thank you for your recent letter in support ofan application proposing to as ign the
broadcast license of KREZ-TV, Durango_ Colorado from LIN ofColorado, LLC, to Native
American Broadcasting, LLC.
As noted in your correspondence, on April 21, 2011, LIN submitted an application to the
Commission proposing to assign the KREZ broadcast license to Native American. Pursuant to
the Communications Act, on April 25, 2011, the Commission's Media Bureau issucd a Public
Notice announcing receipt ofthe LIN application. The issuance of the Public No/ice commences
a 30-day period during which the Commission will accept comments from the public, including
petitions opposing the application. Ifno petitions to deny the proposed assignment are filed with
the Commission, I anticipate that a decision concerning the application will be issued by the
Media Bureau soon after the public comment period expires.
