By the Deputy Chief, Network Services Division, Com­
mon Carrier Bureau: 
1. On August 17, 1995, Teleport Communications Group 
Inc. ("TCG") filed an Emergency Petition for Declaratory 
Ruling requesting that the Common Carrier Bureau affirm 
TCG's right to receive immediately central office codes 
from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. ("SWB"). On Janu­
ary 29, 1996, TCG advised the Commission that it wished 
to withdraw its Petition without prejudice. We hereby grant 
TCG's request and dismiss its Petition without prejudice.
