Notice of OMB Approval of the 2015 Enhancements to the Open Internet Transparency 
Requirements
GN Docket No. 14-28
In the 2015 Open Internet Order,

the Commission adopted enhancements to the 
Transparency Rule, which covers both content and format of disclosures by providers of 
broadband Internet access service.

  The Commission stated that it would announce an effective 
date for these enhanced disclosures in the Federal Register following information collection 
approval of the enhancements by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

On December 15, 2016, OMB approved the enhanced disclosures adopted by the 
Commission in 2015 (Control No. 3060-1158 for fixed broadband Internet access service and 
Control No. 3060-1220 for mobile broadband Internet access service).
