The National Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Program (NDBEDP), also called “iCanConnect,” provides equipment, such as Braille-enabled devices, magnifiers, and vibrating alerts, to individuals who are deaf- blind for access to communication services. The NPRM set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 45 and 60 days after publication of the NPRM in the Federal Register. On June 10, 2015, a summary of the NPRM was published in the Federal Register.1 Accordingly, comments must be filed on or before July 27, 2015, and reply comments must be filed on or before August 10, 2015.
