On June 4, 2013, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of SES Americom to modify the authorization of the AMC-5
space station to: (1) operate the AMC-5 space station at the 80.85° W.L. orbital location, rather than 80.90° W.L.; (2) continue to provide
Fixed-Satellite Service, including direct-to-home services, in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency
bands; and (3) change the east-west station-keeping tolerance of the AMC-5 space station from +/- 0.1 degrees to +/- 0.15 degrees.   In addition,
the Satellite Division granted SES Americom's request to extend the license term of AMC-5 through July 31, 2014.

Petition for Declaratory Ruling to be Added to the Permitted List

Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service
On May 31, 2013, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the petition of Satélites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V., as amended, to add the
SATMEX 5 space station at the 114.9° W.L. orbital location to the Commission's Permitted Space Station List to provide Fixed-Satellite Service,
including direct-to-home services, in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth),
and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands.   The operations of SATMEX 5 addressed by this grant are licensed by the Administration
of Mexico.
